From our arrival to our departure in Nairobi, Kenya DiscoveryXA provided experiences that we could never have imagined. We enjoyed learning about the history of Kenya, it’s culture and people. All of our accommodations were comfortable, clean and we always felt safe. Jim and his guides are experienced, knowledgeable and so much fun to be with. I don’t even know how to describe how incredible and exhilarating it was to see so many wild animals in their natural environment. Date of experience: August 2019
My trip to the holy land was extraordinary. Everything was planned out so well and the time for each event was perfect. We saw so many things in such a short period, and I never felt rushed or bored. We were able to see everything we wanted, and still had plenty of time to relax and shop. The guides were very experienced and knowledgeable. The hotels and food were fabulous. I would definitely sign up for another trip.
I can't thank you enough for the great opportunity you provided in making this the 'trip of a lifetime' for me to the holy land. Every detail was so well planned and taken care of. The places we stayed were very comfortable and convenient. I couldn't have asked for better guides, they were very informative and friendly making sure we understood all the history of the land. It definitely was a testimony builder and has made a BIG impact on my life.

This Safari was a once in a lifetime trip. It was beyond amazing. Jim Gee the owner of Discovery Expeditions hosts a top notch adventure. He was kind and very knowledgeable in every aspect of our safari. With only 4 people to a vehicle, it was easy to see everything. The animals were everywhere. The guides were friendly, personable and fun to hang out with. The accommodations were exceptional nice. The price was very reasonable. I would do this again in a heartbeat. I cannot wait until we book our next adventure with Discovery Expeditions. I would not go with anyone else. Great Company!! I would recommend them to everyone.

Best trip ever
From the time we were picked up at the airport everything was so well organized and fun. Jim Gee was so knowledgeable and friendly. Kip was our guide and made the trip memorable. Vehicles and lodging were excellent. A trip of a lifetime. Would go on any trip with Jim.

Maybe the Best Trip We’ve Ever Been On
Africa and Discovery Expeditions lived up to all of our expectations! Every bit of the trip was organized perfectly. The hotel/tent cabins were amazing as was the food at each location. The guides made the trip. We grew to love our Jackson and we were so sad to leave him! We saw every animal possible in the most beautiful settings imaginable. We would do it all again in a second!

Discovery XA "Big Five" Kenya, Africa Safari
My wife and I were privileged to join Jim Gee and his fantastic team for a wonderful Africa wildlife safari. The experience was well beyond our greatest expectations - with superb accommodations, food and wildlife viewing excursions that were truly breathtaking in the uncrowded comfort of well equipped tour vehicles (maximum of four guests per vehicle). A memorable trip of a lifetime!! Thanks Jim and all of your staff . . . I would rate this experience an A++!!

Kent adventure
Went to Africa to see the wild animals that are present there. We were able to see most of the wild animals that I had hope to see so all of the big five was able to see the hard ones like leopards five different animals saw lots of elephants, lots of buffalo lots of rhino got some wonderful photos of cheetahs and lions. It was very memorable to a person that has always wanted to go to Africa. They went basically where I wanted to go. Let me see what I wanted to see. Had two great guides in Edwin and Jack. They were very knowledgeable of the animals and were lots of fun. Can’t recommend this trip enough. If you don’t know exactly what you want. This is the best trip there. It is in Africa and they will tailor it to whatever you want. Great, Trip loved it.

Beyond our expectations!
We spend 9 days on Safari with Discovery Expeditions and Adventures. the experience far and away exceeded out hopes and expectations when we ultimately booked our safari. From the beginning working with the US office was easy and the information we got was always timely and valuable in helping us prepare for our trip in advance. Especially navigating getting our visas for Kenya. Our guides could not have been more professional. They were able to spot animals in areas where we would not have seen them, got us right into the thick of the animals we really wanted to see (which was all of them) Were able to answer our questions on the animals, their habitats and habits. Also, we asked a lot of questions about Kenyan life that they were able to help us understand. The lodges and tent camps we stayed out we very nice. Food service ranged from OK to very good. We were treated quite well at all facilities because of the number of guests that Discovery XA books in these facilities. We had our rooms and tents in prime spots, and we always had an assigned table for our meals, which were again in prime spots. We couldn't have had a better safari. Everything came together perfectly. We can't say enough good about this company. if your are considering a safari and Kenya is a country you are interested, do not hesitate to contact Discovery XA.

This is the one!
I researched for years looking for THE perfect African Safari. So many of the trips included South Africa and cultural events and I wanted a focus on wildlife. This is it! The animal adventures were outstanding! Our guide was amazing! Honestly, I don't know how they can make it better. Hands down Discovery XA is the one to book!
